Who is lifecoaching for?

Coaching is a service for emotionally healthy individuals who are not in need of "fixing" nor do they think they are broken. This work is designed for people who are ready to create changes in their life, both internally and externally.

Coaching clients are whole, capable people who want support in finding their own course of action— and who are interested in self-exploration, awareness and growth; people who want to explore alternative perspectives and make conscious choices for themselves.

The emphasis is on guiding clients to connect to their own inner wisdom— clarifying what they want and establishing an action plan that keeps the focus on self-discovery.

If Yogic lifecoaching is for you, you’re already aware of the value of self-work and you’re open to learning new tools. You actually want some techniques to practice and you want to be held accountable.

You know that sharing and putting forth what is true for you helps to figure stuff out— you just need someone to hold space for you and keep you focused on your practice.

You want to practice integrative techniques that use a mind/body approach because you are interested in connecting your heart and your head so that you’re moving from the right place.

You are committed to moving through your life from a more connected place.

WHAT EXACTLY DOES A YOGIC LIFECOACH DO?

Unlike therapy, where one's past is emphasized, in Yogic life coaching, we explore the present— where you are now and what is possible.
I support you to set future goals, and balance various aspects of your life.

Unlike traditional coaching that focuses solely on goal setting, we focus on what makes you feel whole and alive. We cultivate the connection of your true authentic self.

Applying the teachings of yoga and mindfulness to you life.
supporting you in transforming habits and patterns.

WHAT GETS ADDRESSED IN YOGIC LIFE COACHING?

We clarify what you want, and create the support and the resources to move you forward.

We look at what you want to say "Yes" to, and what you want to say "No" to.

We learn how to set healthy boundaries so you are not zapping your energy or moving from a place of resentment.

We discover how to make time for yourself without feeling guilty.

We transform procrastination and other forms of self-sabotage and avoidance. We uncover why we resist things that we want to do and we figure out how to get over it!

We focus on how to create more positive and powerful dynamics in your relationships with yourself and others through the art of listening and communicating more powerfully and effectively.

We practice how to let go of old hurts that keep coming up and how to forgive ourselves and others.

We improve your time management skills so you are spending more time on what you truly value.

We focus on your internal resources: your thoughts, beliefs, values and what you trust and hold sacred. We establish connections with external resources, including community, friends, family and partners.

This work is about making a commitment to YOU and following through, and doing all of this from a loving thoughtful place, not from a place of resistance.

This work is not about how much you are getting done; it is how present and focused you are in relation to what you are getting done. Your peace of mind is the focus of this work.

Lastly we focus on facing our fears— instead of running from them or letting them run you. We try to understand that having fear is human— it's part of being alive! Whether it’s based on what has happened in the past or what could happen in the future— fear is a very powerful thing.
It is how we INTERACT with our fear - how we work through it - gives us freedom from it. Focusing on fears and other challenges opens up opportunities for learning, for letting go and for loving the parts that hurt.

HOW WE DO THIS WORK

Awareness
We bring our awareness to how we take care of our physical selves by exploring our breath, our bodies and our overall perception, behaviors, thoughts and feelings. We become aware of judgment, of what we are avoiding and how to step into a place of integrity and compassion. We listen to what our bodies and souls are telling us and pay attention to how we express our needs to others and ourselves

Practice
We set up intentions and affirmations in order to get clear on what we are committing to and how to fully step into this. We get to the heart of the issue (or what lies underneath). We use tools for self-inquiry, self-management, self-expression and self-respect.
